Take a beautiful journey around earth and beyond with First Aid Kit in “Master Pretender," directed by Kyle Cogan. The animated video is full of warm colors and charming images, starting with what appears to be Johanna and Klara Söderberg of First Aid Kit running through the forest and climbing trees. It’s not long before the First Aid Kit girls begin to transform into other animals. Throughout the video, animal versions of Johanna and Klara run through the frame, including birds, fish, frogs, horses, dolphins, caterpillars, and butterflies. By the time the bridge kicks in, they girls have transitioned into space ships, flying around earth as the lyrics are animated on the screen. As the song plays out, we find Johanna and Klara as themselves again, running along side of their animal counterparts, providing a satisfying ending to their delightful voyage.

"Master Pretender" was produced by Simian Design Group and can be found on the album Stay Gold.
