Two weeks ago, while in LA, I had the chance to attend the latest installment of the Flux Screening Series at the Hammer Museum. While there, I sat down with Flux founder Jonathan Wells and asked him some questions about some of the things Flux is doing in the music video community (You can hear that whole conversation in this podcast).
One of the coolest things Flux is doing is a museum exhibition at The Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio called Spectacle: The Music Video. The exhibition, running through September 3, 2012, treats music videos as an art form and not only provides a history of music videos, but also offers “immersive environments, photography, video screenings, objects, and interactive installations.
