Information Collection & Processing

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register for a user account on our site. When ordering or registering on our site, you will be asked to sign up with your e-mail address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Tracking

IMVDb uses Google Analytics to track what content is viewed on the site. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics, and IMVDb uses Google Analytics with IP anonymization. IMVDb does not use any other third party tracking or personal information data storage.

Facebook Login

IMVDb uses Facebook login as an option for users account. When setting up this connection, IMVDb users Facebook's system to access and store your email address for the purposes of setting up your IMVDb account. No other data is taken or stored from Facebook.

What do we use your information for?

Your user account information is used only to log in to your account.

What user data do we store?

If you have an IMVDb user account we store your user name, display name, email address, and date that you first and last logged in. We also associate your user account with any playlists or channels you have created, any videos you have liked, or any entities you have followed. We also associate your user account with videos you have submitted and data you have contributed to the public IMVDb database.

Removing User Account Data

You can delete your user account by going to Accounts & Settings -> Delete Your Account. This will immediately delete any user account data (no including submitted credits) from the site, including playlists, channels, and likes.

Cookies

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Cookies on IMVDb come from:

  • IMVDb - Set when you log in to your user account.
  • Google - Set by Google Analytics. We use IP anonymization with Google Analytics.
  • Facebook - We include Facebook javascript for the Facebook Like button that may set cookies.
  • Twitter - We include Twitter javascript for the Twitter like button that may set cookies.

Information Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Privacy Policy modification date below.
