Each week, FRINGE MUSIC FIX culls the latest music video releases, carefully selecting the most bizarre, provocative, and remarkable videos from across the world.

Sit back, relax, and open your mind’s eye; things are about to get interesting. The following are our selections for the week ending May 25th, 2014.

Sam Smith and director Luke Monaghan unite to deliver this touching video for "Leave Your Lover" starring Sam Smith. The tender and sad clip explores a love triangle.

A dark and glitched out visual from directors Sandberge&Timonen and Kacper Kasperzyk for the Röyksopp & Robyn collaboration, “Sayit.”

“Passing Out Pieces” is a gritty and disturbing visual which sees Mac DeMarco partake in a number of extra curriculars. From brutally murdering his friends and associates, to giving birth to a cabbage, it’s all just another day in the life of Mac DeMarco. The video was directed by Pierce McGarry.

PENSACOLA serve up this hallucinogen powered visual for Mr. Flash’s "Midnight Blue."  In the video, three friends crash a party, consume drugs, and undergo one of the trippiest nights they won’t soon forget.

Rafael Bonilla Jr. directs the absurdly creative stop-motion music video for Glass Animal’s "Pools."  In the video, we are introduced to a series of characters undergoing strange forms of metamorphosis in a jungle setting. It’s a surreal and imaginative video that’s impressive artistry secure’s it’s position amongst this week’s most remarkable new videos.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS
