The director John Maybury, line producer Hugh Symonds and producer Chirs Johnson were all huddled behind a screen watching on a mirror angled toward the set - the video assist monitor was broken
The video was supposed to a multilayered Busby Berkeley type affair but early in the edit Sinead saw the performance bed, that long close-up, and insisted just that should be used . The record label complained it was too simple! but later they pinched a shot from the video for her album cover.
