Swift and her love interest, Guntars Asmanis, never met. Their parts were shot outside of Nashville and Binghamton’s MacArthur Park, south of Syracuse, N.Y., respectively. Asmanis’ part was shot in Syracuse because it was the only place where the crew could find snow at the time the video was being shot.
