The video was shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, the same hotel where Bobby Kennedy was shot. The director chose the location without knowing that Tift’s grandparents went on their first date at the same hotel 50 years earlier.
Since it was a single shot video, the band and their gear were quickly moved from room to room during the verses to be set up for chorus.
The room in the last chorus was also feature in the movie “Almost Famous” by Cameron Crowe.
