A few days ago, I was looking at our FilmedInsert home page and said "this layout sort of looks like Pinterest". I asked Doug and he agreed. That got me thinking - would anyone want to share music videos on Pinterest?

I don't even have a Pinterest account, so I created one and started mousing around. Looks like although wedding cakes are still in high demand on the site, music videos are being shared as well. And why not? Music videos can be beautiful, and Pinterest is about beautiful things.

So, since Pinterest is so image-focused we specially modified our image serving scripts to provide a specially-sized high resolution image to Pinterest so you can share a music video by pinning a beautiful screen shot. We also added a Pin button to the video display page - you'll find it right next to the Facebook/Twitter buttons.

We've also started some boards that we'll be keeping updated. For right now, we're starting out with a Best New Music Videos board, where we post new music videos we enjoy, and a Daily Pick board, which gets a new pick of the day added each day.
