New Release: 'No New Friends' by DJ Khaled featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne

It’s rare that a video production creates a meme, but that’s exactly what happened when a photo from the set of “No New Friends” by DJ Khaled, showing Drake leanin’ in a Dada outfit, hit the internet. The image of Drake has been so popular, that it actually has it’s own Know Your Meme entry. The yellow and black Dada outfit itself ties into the Colin Tilley/Drake-directed video perfectly, which brings all the rappers back to 1996 though retro camera effects, Zach Morris cell phones, and untied Timberlands. The entire staff of IMVDb was in middle school in Coral Springs, FL for most of 1996, so we know nothing about the life they’re recreating, but we love it as much now as we did then. 

“No New Friends” will be found on DJ Khaled's upcoming seventh studio album, Suffering from Success, and the video was produced by Brandon Bonfiglio for London Alley Entertainment.
