Skylar Grey gets lucky in a variety of different ways in the music video/Nissan commercial for her cover of Daft Punk’s "Get Lucky," directed by Declan Whitebloom. Part of Vevo’s original #NissanTracks series, the video allows Skylar to embody several unique characters throughout the video. It begins with Skylar as a tacky looking contestant on a game show called Win A Fortune, where her and her top-of-the-head ponytail are kicking ass against a man dressed as a banana. She eventually gets to spin a giant wheel and wins a Nissan Versa. We then follow Skylar, as herself this time, as she drives her Versa through LA and miraculously gets all the green lights and hears that her song is #1 on the radio. Next we find Skylar in a golf dress and visor, taking part in a very serious mini-golf competition where she sinks a $10,000 put and then dances around while riding her putter like a horse. We then cut to Skylar on stage at an award show, in a sparkling silver dress holding four awards. Her mascara runs as she cries through her acceptance speech. We then jump to a carnival where hipster Skylar completely owns the fish ball toss game, and eventually wins a giant goldfish – which is not quite a cool as a Nissan Versa, but is definitely still lucky. The video ends with regular Skylar pulling up to a house with a truck full of her awards and prizes. She brings them inside where she finds rose petals leading upstairs, which bring her to a shirtless hunky fireman lying in bed, rubbing his hands over his beefy chest. After a video full of Skylar getting literally lucky, her and the fireman hunk get married and drive off in their Versa, assumingly to get lucky in a different, sexier, figurative way.

"Get Lucky" was produced by Coleen Haynes for Black Dog Films.
