Directed by Terry Richardson, “XO” is one of the 17 music videos included on Beyoncé’s self-titled “visual album” released last Friday. The video takes place in Coney Island on a summer day/night, with Beyoncé dressed casually in jeans and a white tank top (although still tremendously fabulous, naturally) while she rides bumper cars, the Wonder Wheel, and of course the famous Coney Island Cyclone. “XO” is a lot tamer than the music video work we’ve seen from Terry this year (in case you forgot, he directed “Wrecking Ball”), but he does a fantastic job capturing the energy created when someone like Beyoncé shoots a music video in an extremely public place like Coney Island.

“XO” was produced by Adam Baxter for Black Dog Films and can be found of the visual album Beyonce.
