BANKS

The music video catalog of LA-based singer-songwriter BANKS has been in heavy rotation at IMVDb for the past year or so. Even without a full album to her name, BANKS has established a strong image as a natural performer throuh a set of videos featuring the singer. Her latest video, directed by Barnaby Roper, is beautiful and ambitious addition to that catalog - a dark, black and white (mostly) mix of generated images and shots of BANKS. This video has elements of a visual music piece, with kaleidoscope images sometimes flickering or pulsing along with the music. It's also an engaging performance video, chopping up short clips of BANKS and alternating between black and white and a red tint that captures the intensity of the track.

The music video for "Brain" was produced by Black Dog Films. The track is available as a single.
