“End Of Me” by A Day To Remember is a dark video about the two male members of a family dealing the loss of the female figure in their life. Director Shane Drake tells the story of a teenage son who has taken on the burden of responsibility for the family since his mother left. He spends most of his time alone and his only interaction with anyone is when he has to take the lit cigarette out of his sleeping father’s hand, taking a drag for himself before putting it out. He takes out his frustration of the walls, appearing to count the days since his mom left by drawing X marks all over his room. As the song intensifies, his emotions boil over, and he begins the react more violently to the situation by taking a baseball bat to his bed. All of this builds to an unexpected twist ending that’s super fun to see people try to figure out in the comments on YouTube.

”End Of Me” was produced by Brandon Bonfiglio for London Alley Entrainment and can be found on the album Common Courtesy.
