LA-based singer/songwriter BANKS teams back up with director Barnaby Roper on the video for her new single “Beggin For Thread.” The sexy, black and white video has many stylistic similarities to BANKS and Roper’s last collaboration, “Brain,” with this video also featuring dust-covered dancers whose choreography matches perfectly with the thumping energy of the song. BANKS is right at home in the foggy, dark atmosphere of the video, with five of her eight music videos being mostly black and white (like “Brain,” “Beggin For Thread” also features a few moments of deep red). As the song intensifies, the dancers begin to tug and grab at BANKS from all directions, illustrating the controlling, disorienting relationship that BANKS describes in the lyrics.

“Beggin For Thread” was produced by Black Dog Films and can be pre-ordred on the upcoming album Goddess.
