So far, Brooke Candy’s career has played out almost exclusively through music videos. She first caught the world’s attention in 2012 when she was featured in Grimes’ “Genesis” video, and then a few months later formally introduced herself through the Matt Boman-directed “Das Me.” Since then, Brooke has blessed us with a one hot video every three month average, dropping four videos in 2013 that kept her on our mind throughout the year, despite the fact that she didn’t release an album. Her latest video, “Opulence,” takes everything we loved from her previous work and puts them all together into one 6-minute long, diamond-encrusted music video masterpiece. The video is relentless from the very first moments, which feature Brooke beating the shit out of a shirtless dude with a top-of-the-head tattoo, but no matter how big Brooke and director Steven Klein go, the video manages to keep building throughout, finding new levels of excess and sexiness to hit us in the face with. From covering literally her entire body in diamonds to rocking Romantic era style giant wigs, Brooke spends the video proving that she’s a grown queen doing grown things, and that she is going to do them in the most explicit way possible.

“Opulence” was produced by Colin Lewis for Black Dog Films and can be downloaded as a single now.
