If you're in the United State and you're a casual pop music listener, your first real exposure to British singer Jessie J is probably her single "Bang Bang" featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, which is currently sitting at #5 on the Hot 100. Though she's been a fixture on the UK pop scene for a while now (she was briefly in the 2012 London Olympic closing ceremonies, for example), her upcoming album, Sweet Talker, is one that us here in the US will be hearing a lot about.

And while "Bang Bang" was song that balanced three big singing (and rapping) talents, Jessie J's new video for "Burnin' Up" has more of a focus on her as an individual artist. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis (who also directed "Bang Bang"), the video is made up of a series of setups where Jessie J is the focus and her versatility is on display. Seriously though - in this video we see Jessie lead a dance troupe, vamp by the pool, pose in front of some in shape dudes, and even provide some sly product placement for everyone's favorite music video placement junkies, Beats.

Hannah Lux Davis cleverly lets 2 Chainz stick to a simple performance, keeping Jessie J in the center of attention and 2 Chainz from doing anything too crazy. HLD also keeps the aspect ratio wide and cinematic - this is one of the widest videos we've seen in a while.

The video for "Burnin' Up" by Jessie J feat. 2 Chainz was produced by Brandon Bonfiglio for London Alley Entertainment. The single is out now, but if you wait a week the whole album will be out (on 10/13)!
