In the Vimeo description for for The Rule by Faces On Film, director Carlos Lopez Estrada describes the music video as a tale of loss and redemption. Carlos second music video released this week, The Rule is literally a split between live footage and Cameron Clarks 2D animation, with every shot of the video featuring some from of additional animation added to it. The loss in this video is represented by orange and yellow 2D flames bursting out of every window and opening the camera passes, and at around the 2 minute mark, the redemption begins in the form of raindrops that eventually turn into a massive flood, extinguishing all the fire in the city.
