The gorgeous video for “My Silver Lining” by First Aid Kit is a collage of horror movie effects - like ghost trails, moving furniture, and dolly zooms - set in a bright and unexpected location. While the ghostly influence is undeniable, the video isn’t at all dark, in fact it makes use of the sun frequently through back lit shots and striking lens flairs. Directed by Elliott Sellers, the video centers on the girls in First Aid Kit performing the song around a beautiful house, inside a garden, and in the backseat of a car with a ghost driver. The song has an upbeat vibe, while the lyrics have a darker edge to them, which perfectly mirrors ghostly undertones of this otherwise bright and shiny video.

“My Silver Lining” was produced by Courtney Davies for Doomsday Entertainment and can be found on the upcoming album Stay Gold.
