Director Lance Drake gives us a taste of what life would be like in a video game in the video for “Wasted Love” by Steve Angello. The lyrics of the song, sung by Dougy Mandagi of The Temper Trap, talk about a person giving all of themselves to the one they loved, but it never ends up being enough to keep things alive. In a video game you give all you can to each "life" you are given, even though you might have more, because if you die you have to start over. "Wasted Love" begins with a character “dying” after unsuccessfully beating a game that involves battling/saving a glowing female character. As the character moves though the VFX filled game, he has to complete different tasks in order to move on to the next level. Eventually, the character we’ve been following meets his match in the final level, and gets a “game over” of his own. As the video ends, we see the next player getting ready to begin the game, revealing that the next player up is Steve Angello himself.

”Wasted Love” was produced by Kimberly Stuckwisch and Melora Donoghue for Doomsday Entertainment and can be downloaded as a single now.
