Trivia
The song’s title “Taro” gets its name from Gerda Taro, a photographer who died covering the Spanish Civil War. His companion was Robert Capa, whose image, The Falling Soldier, shows up in the video when one of the young photographers is looking at the photograph. Director Melissa Murray conceived the two characters as being a young team like Taro and Capa, except capturing the violence in modern Chicago.
