Wild Nothing Releases 'Paradise' Music Video featuring Michelle Williams

When we interviewed director Matt Amato a few weeks ago on the IMVDb Music Video Land podcast, he had this to say about shooting out in the real world:

If I'm just going out in the world and doing something myself, I want to keep things very open, because I want the world in the video.

Matt's music video for "Paradise" by Wild Nothing, which was released this morning on Pitchfork.tv's YouTube channel, takes this approach to heart, following frequent The Masses collaborator Michelle Williams as she boards a flight, and finds herself at Niagara Falls in a dream.

The video also features Williams reading a selection from A Word Child, the 1975 novel by Irish Murdoch which, according to Wikipedia, "charts the trials and tribulations of the title character, the 'word child', Hilary Burde as he attempts to recover his soul from the misery of his troubled past."
