The Most Popular Music Videos Released This Week (4/19)

This week, we introduced IMVDb Charts, a new feature that tracks all the views and social media shares of every video in our database. There are lots of fun things that we can do with that data, and one that were most excited about is our Top New Videos chart, which shows the most popular videos released in the last five days. Since this chart refreshes hourly, the information on it can change frequently. So, each Friday, were going to provide you with a snapshot of the week, and chronicle the most popular videos as of 12pm EST every Friday.
Of course, we start this series with an annotation. Unfortunately for Psy, whos Gentleman video sat comfortably atop the chart all week, doesnt qualify for this list, as his video was released over the weekend. However, with nearly 160 million views in six days, given the record-breaking popularity of this video, we had to give it a shout out. And with that, please enjoy the top 10 most popular videos of the week!
