"Rescue" by Yuna is an empowering song about a woman overcoming a difficult situation on her own, without needing any outside help. The video, directed by Elliott Sellers, follows Yuna as she performs in beautiful outdoor locations, some with more natural surroundings and others in much more developed areas. Yuna spends most of the video in the middle of the frame, looking happy and stylish as she sings the uplifting song. The video doesn't tell us if Yuna is singing about herself, or about someone else, but either way, she's clearly happy about the whole thing. There are some well-placed camera and visual effects sprinkled in the video as well, including a great use of Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo effect.  The VFX potions of the video are reminiscent of the effects in Yuna’s fourclops-directed “Live Your Life (TWINSMATIC Remix)” video, which came out back in February.

"Rescue" was executively produced by Danielle Hinde for Doomsday Entertainment and can be found on the album Nocturnal.
