BRTHR's Top 15 Music Videos of 2014

Posted by BRTHR on December 17, 2014 in Lists

Editor's Note: For our end of the year wrap up, we asked a few filmmakers to compile their own top music video lists. This list was compiled by music video director duo BRTHR.

Hi IMVDBae. BRTHR here chiming in on the good stuff. We direct music videos, but we are also music video geeeeks, and we watch almost every music video we come across on the interweb (mostly through the IMVDB platform so thanks duders). This year felt like such a blur, but in the midst of all that, these videos truly stood out to us. I don't know, just looking at this list ourselves we def seem to have a thing for highly stylized videos. These vids to us are the sort of vids that make us feel like we're working in the right field-- despite the crappy pay or whatever, the stress & agony, dying, etc. There is so much HOPE. We think. Rambling... Anyways, here's a tight selection of the bunch. There were loads of good things coming out this year but again, these really stood out to us. We managed to cut a 25er list down to a 15er. In no particular order at all.
