The Most Popular Music Videos Released This Week (10/03)

Maroon 5 and Samuel Bayer, what have you done. You made a music video for "Animal" where Adam Levine plays a crazy stalker who not only stalks a girl he likes, but also hugs hanging animal carcasses. Did anyone catch how terrible of a butcher Adam Levine is at the beginning of this video? He's trying to cut some ribs and getting like 10% of the way there. I'm sure professional butchers around the world are furious.

In any case, the internet loved this video this week, and it has posted an impressive 10 or so million views since it was released on Monday, so I guess you could say the the viewing public down with Adam Levine hugging some hangin' meat. Good to know.

Elsewhere on the list we have Pharrell (Williams) back on the scene with a pretty amazing animated video for "It Girl," and a stunningly good video by Hiro Murai for "Never Catch Me" by Flying Lotus feat. Kendrick Lamar. For the top 25, check out the playlist here. Anyways, we're out of here. The IMVDb crew is going to pay homage this week's top music video by grabbing some half priced "Apps" at Applebee's and using more ketchup than we normally would. #yolo
