Cindy

In the video for “Cindy + Me” by Caged Animals, director by Carlos Lopez Estrada brings us to a world where a group of baboon scientists run a series of tests on Caged Animals singer Vincent Cacchione - creating likely the only type of animal testing that PETA would be cool with. Shot by Nicholas Wiesnet, the video has the feeling of old archival footage taken from an actual testing laboratory, and its full frame aspect ratio further strengthens that concept. We were actually in LA while they were shooting this video, and Carlos invited us on set to check it out. For an idea of what that was like, you can check out these photos. The two baboons that we saw on set were literally the cutest, most intimidating things we’ve ever seen, and despite being there, we still don’t know how they pulled some of this stuff off.

“Cindy + Me” can be found on Caged Animals upcoming, currently untitled album, and was produced by Danielle Hinde for Doomsday Entertainment
