Sia and Maddie Ziegler Recreate "Chandelier" Music Video on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

This morning, Sia made her television debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show by recreating her “Chandelier” music video alongside 11-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler. Maddie is once again fantastic, and Sia gives a spirited performance despite being turned away from the camera and audience – an element that at first seems a little strange (possibly because Ellen makes reference to it in her intro), but slowly begins to make sense as the performance progresses (and then gets weird again when Ellen goes up to congratulator her at the end). This is no simple recreation either, they basically rebuilt the full video set on Ellen’s stage, and there are moments in the performance that are almost indistinguishable from the original video.
