Last night on The Tonight Show, Stevie Nicks recreated her 1981 music video Stop Draggin My Heart Around, with Jimmy Fallon playing the part of Tom Petty. The trick to recreating a performance video like Stop Draggin My Heart Around is in the subtleties, and from the slow fades, to the early 80s style, to the weird square microphones, they kinda nail it and of course Fallon is spot on with his Petty impersonation. Interestingly enough, the one thing they do change is in the original Stevie Nicks is on the left side and in the remake shes on the right. Weird! Im curious how many people were familiar with the OG version before seeing the remake, but all it takes is one IMVDb search to realize how close they really got to it.
