The Most Popular Music Videos Released This Week (8/1)

We should start this week off by saying that were already at Applebees getting drunk at happy hour, so if this post is a little rambley and incoherent, blame it on the 2-4-1 house wines. At the top of the list this week is "Chasing The Sun" by Hilary Duff, her first single in six years. Directed by Declan Whitebloom, the video pulled in over 9 million views in four days, proving that our girl Hilary has still got it. Coming in behind Hilary is the homie Katy Perry with the pop art-inspired This Is How We Do, directed by Joel Kefali. "This Is How We Do" has only been out for about a day and a half, but had it come out at the same time as "Chasing The Sun" the battle for the number one spot might have been a bit more contentious.

After two weeks in a row with at least three Weird Al videos, the top videos of this week return to form with some great pop videos from 5 Seconds Of Summer, Lana del Rey, Janelle Monáe, and Lucy Hale all artists that we should expect Weird Al to parody in the near future.
