FRINGE MUSIC FIX's selections for this week's most exceptional music videos include themes of longing, the blue collar grind, sexual allure, unbridled love, and solicited sex. Read on to discover which of this week’s new music videos were the most remarkable.

An animated video directed by Francesca Adams that sets out to characterize the everyday life of the average middle-class worker. The stylistic character designs and brilliant storyboarding serve exceedingly well in replicating the repetition and monotony of a daily work routine.

A very provocative music video even in terms of Sky Ferreira videos. Once again helmed by director Grant Singer, the clip sees Sky featured in a variety of suggestive situations in an assortment of suggestive outfits. While the video does not quite quality as unsafe for work, its highly sexual and alluring nature will certainly increase heart rates. Grant Singer has directed most of Sky’s videos, including her recently released and more narrative-centered "You’re Not The One". As expected, Singer once again employs excellent lighting and bold color choices to create contrasting tones of darkness, sexuality and of youthful vibrance - all things which could be used to describe Sky’s unique pop music hybrid.

A melancholic and moody clip that successfully adapts the moods and tones of London Grammar’s fantastic cover of Kavinsky’s popular track, which gained recognition by being featured on the soundtrack for Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive. The video, shot at night and dramatically immersed in fog and smoke, features a combination of shots of both the band performing and an assortment of unknown characters in stand-still states. They all share something in common - a state of deep contemplation, longing and loneliness. These moods remain even when individuals are surrounded by bandmates and peers.

Michael Milosh and wife Alexa Nikolas have once again self-directed a beautiful video for Milosh’s single, "This Time". Not unlike their last video, "Slow Down", this one also serves as a moving and heartwarming testament to the love the couple share for one another. While "Slow Down" was an impressively executed first outing, it’s even more remarkable to pull off a second video as raw, honest, and beautiful as this, while still avoiding the overly sentimental pitfalls such a concept could have easily fallen victim to. The video is a montage of footage the couple themselves shot while traveling the world. Someone would be hard pressed to watch "Slow Down" and "This Time" and not be convinced the couple share a powerful bond and chemistry few married couples possess.

The David Altobelli and Taylor Cohen directed music video for Superhumanoids’ "So Strange" is one of those videos that takes you on a brief journey that concludes in an unexpected, surprising, and powerful twist. Why the twist works so well is that they video is executed in such a way that it appears a pretty straight forward and predictable glimpse into one night in the life of a female escort. The video is wonderfully shot, and while I won’t give away the reveal here, the final few scenes are absolutely heartbreaking and unforgettable.

Honorable Mentions

Flight Facilities - "Stand Still"

Hjaltalín - "I Feel You"

Major Lazer - "Sweat"
