What Are You Doing Wednesday Night?
This Wednesday (July 18, 2012), will launch the new monthly screening series from the LA Music Video Festival called "LAMVF Spotlight." Wednesday's event will feature director Isaiah Seret and be held at The Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles. According to the Facebook event page, Isaiah will take you "through some of his videos in conversation with his collaborators," including director of photography Matthew Lloyd and editor Luke Lynch. Isaiah is no stranger to the LAMVF, as his Raphael Saadiq - "Good Man" music video was the winner in the festival's narrative category this year.
The screening starts at 9:30pm, but I would get there early because The Downtown Independent has an awesome concession stand that serves alcohol and if you're anything like me, you'll want to drink it. Admission is free, but if you give them $5 or more, you'll get one of these sweet, sweet LAMVF t-shirts. For more info, check out the huge flyer below.
If any of you guys go to this event, take pictures and send them to us. In exchange, we will pay you back the $5 you spent to buy your LAMVF t-shirt. Note: Only take photos when socially acceptable.
