Jason Derulo is out to put other romantic music videos to shame with his new video for "Marry Me", which was released today. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video features Derulo and his real life girlfriend Jordin Sparks doing romantic things together like playing around in bed, watching home movies of themselves, and making chocolate chip muffins. Lux Davis focuses this video intensely on Derulo and Sparks, to the point that aside from two people playing a happy eldery version of the couple, they are literally the only people we see in the video.

The song itself is basically a marriage proposal - the chorus is "will you marry me?" - but cleverly, this video never shows an actual proposal, only the leadup to one. In the begninning of the video, Derulo is seen in a Michael C. Fina store looking at engagement rings, and towards the end he seems to find one he likes, but we never actually see him popping the question with the ring itself. Jordin Sparks is also seen getting ready for something she is wearing a dress to, so something is definitely set up to happen in the future. The IMVDb research department has not been able to turn up any sources saying the two are publicly engaged, but this video seems to hint that Derulo is going for it (and honestly, after this video, he kind of has to).

The video for "Marry Me" was produced by Brandon Bonfiglio and Luga Podesta for London Alley Entertainment. "Marry Me" will be on Derulo's forthcoming album Tattoos.
