After teasing us with two lyric videos and one “audio” video, Nicki Minaj has finally released the official music video for “Pills N Potions,” directed by Diane Martel. Nicki leaves her pink wigs and heavy eye makeup at home for this one, and instead opts for a much more natural look, which blends perfectly with the minimalist video and stripped down song. There are splashes of effects throughout from VFX artist Geoffrey Lillemon, as well as plenty of the surreal elements found frequently in Diane Martel’s music videos, adding some flashy and fun moments to the otherwise understated clip. There is also a fair amount of sexiness in here, with The Game making several shirtless appearances and Nicki at times rocking pieces of black tape instead of a top.

“Pills N Potions” was produced by Black Dog Films and can be found on the upcoming album The Pink Print.
