Normally, upscale daytime parties like the one featured in "Do Or Die" by Flux Pavilion feat. Childish Gambino would be fine with just an iPod and some speakers in the corner playing a Pandora station. This party, however, has booked English dubstep DJ Flux Pavilion, and they don't know what they're in for. As he performs, the music forces people into repetitve, violent motions that cause them to do things like repeatedly smack their head with a watch until their forehead is bloody or smash a wine glass into their face. He will probably not be invited back.

Director Bryan Schlam doesn't hold back on the chaos that Flux causes - we get several visceral shots of blood spurting, screaming bloody faces, and people crawling on the ground in pastel-colored clothes. Depsite all that happens to the partygoers, somehow we're still totally behind Flux Pavilion and would definitely invite him to our next gathering. Keep an eye out for the little details - the croquet set, the appropriately colorful clothing, and the awesome floral table cloth underneath Flux's DJ setup. The cream-colored letterboxing also sets the tone nicely.

"Do or Die" is featured on Flux Pavilion's Blow the Roof EP will get a remix EP in late July under Circus/Big Beat Records. The video was produced by Doomsday Entertainment.
