If you are a group of girls trying to levitate one of your friends at a birthday sleepover and you actually succeed, there is the question of what to actually do next. In the case of "The False Alarms" by LA electronic band Fol Cehn, the post levitation doesn't go that great. Once Fol Cehn member Sinosa Loa starts levitating things go downhill quickly, starting with the fire department showing up, and then an attempted exorcism. Eventually Sinosa's loved ones just apparently give up and have a funeral for her. The house she is in becomes abandoned, squatted in, falls into disrepair, and is eventually demolished. We're left with a view of Sinosa still levitating above ground where her sleepover party originally got her into this mess and undetermined amount of time before.

The storyline in this video is fascinating - what would you do if your daughter was levitating and you couldn't stop it? Director Keith Musil fits an entire dramatic storyline in fast motion into the video, and tells that story entirely from a unique physical perpspective.

"The False Alarms" was produced by Joe Falstich for Doomsday Entertainment and is the title track of Fol Chen's latest album.
